Community Building Mechanism

The continuous interaction with the user communities is a central point of the BRIDGES user-driven methodology. The overall project success and the quality of the proposed services to schools is heavily depended on the active engagement of the user communities. Through a series of well-designed participatory engagement activities for all user groups, BRIDGES will offer a continuous dialogue with school communities and educational policy makers during the development of their projects and of their transformation plans. The consortium realizes that the emergence of a community of inquiry does not happen by itself and does not emerge until considerable group dialogue takes place. Teaching and learning techniques and activities that promote continuous interaction and that focus learning on applications of sustainability citizenship, will enhance the development of the BRIDGES communities.
